Walking paths
  Skånevik is unique in that it has walking paths that stretch from the fjord to the mountains.  There are many possibilities with short 1 or 2 hour trips and for the more adventurous climbs to the mountain tops.
Leknesnepa  
  Skånevik - via Setervegen - Smørklamp - Leknesnepa - Skånevik.  2 - 3  hours return.

Hodnet
  Åsheim via Erikstien to Hodnet,  4 - 5 hours return.

Vannesvegen
 Nice walk along gravel road return trip takes approx. 1 ½ hours. Unique landscape, geology and botany.       
Prestafjellet
 Åsheim via Erikstien - Nesvåg, 2 - 3 hours.  
Juraskaret
  Rabben - Valdra - Rodalen - Juraskaret, 3 - 4 hour return.
 
Old Postal route between Skånevik and Etne
  Part of the old postal route Stavanger Postveg (1785).  Start form either Skånevik or Etne.  Marked trail.  Excellent viewing point over the region Sunnhordland and Folgefonna Glacier.

Oppheim
 1 hour.  Nice views over Skånevik
 
Tjelflaatåsen
 1 hour.  Starts from Tjellflaat Farm.

Roundtrip Skånevik - Postal route - Beech Forrest - Milje - Skånevik
  Well marked.  1 - 1 ½ hours. 

Taraldsøy
 Gode turstiar på langs og tvers av øya.  Frodig og variert blandingsskog med rikt fugleliv.
